The incumbent performs in a clinical leadership role, contributes to efficient operation of the unit, and demonstrates professional development/clinical competency. While on duty, the Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of care givers administering care to patients. In this role, he/she will assure that the care, equipment and services provided are appropriate to the ages and needs of the patient population served. The incumbent is to present for work in a timely manner, groomed professionally, and perform their job function in accordance with all Norton Healthcare standards, policies and procedures. He or she must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. He or she must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the invasive procedures provided in this area.
